Gallery Talk with Ken Friedman

On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition “92 Events + 1”, the Museum of Contemporary Art announces the guest appearance of its author, the renowned American artist, Ken Friedman, who will speak about the ideas, works and events that mark his long-standing and historically influential presence on the world art scene.

The works in the exhibition “92 Events + 1” encompass some of the main ideas and principles of Ken Friedman’s artistic practice, as well as his contribution as a member of the international Fluxus movement, composed of artists such as Yoko Ono, Dick Higgins, Joseph Beuys, Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostel, Shigeko Kubota, George Brecht, Ben Vautier, Alan Kaprow, Milan Knížák, as well as a number of significant avant-garde composers, such as John Cage, LaMonte Young, Terry Riley, or designers and poets.
